Sakura and Sayonara off to King Parks

Today my friend Sakura and I went to Kings Park.
Oh man, what an adventure...

This morning we woke up early (9.30, yes so unexpected from us. Guess it’s our new jap side) to go to uni to get a few things done.
Then we headed to the city to do some browsing. For once I didn't buy anything. :) . I am trying to keep every little cent that I have to shop in Singapore later. Can’t wait!!!

With our bubble teas and KFCs in hand we were ready to start our picnic in Kings Park!!!

Now that’s where the adventure really begins…

1) Find the bus to Kings Park. Luckily the woman at the information was quite helpful on this one.

2) Once we got off the bus, find the central area of kings Park. We failed on this one. Haha. We walked in the wrong direction and had no clue of where we were... :p . Aww, two poor little lost Japanese tourists… We were so tired and hungry that we decided to just sit down wherever we were and start eating. When we opened our KFC bag, our burger and twister we soggy. Arggg. And again, those CHARMING kfc people didn’t give us any wet tissues. -.- . Seriously what’s wrong with them? It’s the 3 rd time this week that this happens to me.

During our meal we were surrounded by fierce crows. We swore that they were all ganging against us and planning an attack. Lol.

3) Now that our stomachs were full, we were ready again for adventure. We decided to go and look for the state memorial area. Actually, I was quite near… Haha. Like about 15 minutes walk from where we were.

Well, we spent a couple of hours there just enjoying the sun and the view.

Oh, and I got disturbed a few times by my stupid landlord. I seriously think that there is something wrong with him… -.-

busy busy week

This past week has been very busy and pretty tiring… But very fun. So I will attempt to make a resume…

From Sunday to Tuesday my younger cousin Julie, was staying at my place. On Monday we went shopping and I bought a big white shirt to go the beach. I think I am currently obsessed by the beach. Lol. I keep on buying things to go the beach.

On Tuesday I went to Mandurah with my housemates and some friends. It’s a small town situated in the south of Perth. There wasn’t much to do there, but the day was pretty fun thanks to my wonderful friends. ^^ . After Mandurah we ended up in freo where we had dinner at little creatures and had dessert at San Churros. At night I accompanied my cousin Simon to drop Julie to the airport. She went back to Mauritius. When I came back home Angelina and Jesper were there, so we had a few drinks with the other housemates.

Then on Wednesday I had lunch with my 2 other cousins, Yannick and Eric in the city. It was nice to catch up with them after a few months. Although they live in Perth I don’t meet them very often. In the afternoon, Charlene, Mabel, Jason and I, we went to visit a house for rent near Uni. This house was simply perfect, it even has a pool… I really really hope that we get it. (Keeping my fingers crossed) I can’t wait to tell to my current landlord that I am moving out!

Two of my housemates, Charlene and Mabel left for Singapore on Thursday. So now it’s Saadiah and I against the world!!! Lol.

On Friday, Saadiah and I went to garden city to catch up my our ex housemate, Melanie. Was good to see her and chit chat. :) . Afterwards we went fishing with Jason and his friends. Surprisingly it was fun. I saw a seal and I nicknamed it Jack. Although all the other fisherman/fisherwoman there, probably hated it,cause it ate their fish, I just thought that Jack was so cute. Haha.

Saturday, as usual I went to work. Then I went to a bar with Calvin, Jason and Saadiah to have dinner. Unfortunately I can’t remember the name of the bar. Guess I was too tired. But the pizza was good, it had a lot of prawns on top… That’s enough to make me happy. ^^

And finally, today, saadiah and I, we visited the fremantle prison. It was quite interesting to learn about the past of Western Australia and how the prison was run.

I guess it’s enough for now. Time to go to sleep. Another long day is waiting for me tomorrow… ^^

Hula Bula

Last night I went to a hawaiian bar, Hula Bula, with some friends. It was really awesome. I had a lot of fun and got pretty tipsy. :p . lol.
The place was quite small but, the setting was very nice, it looked like a hawaiian hut. And the drinks were yummy... :) . Surprisingly there was some mauritian stuffs there, they had phoenix beer and 'gato piment'. lol. So it just makes me like this bar a little bit more. :D
Wanna have my 22nd Birthday party there next year. Omg can't wait!!! ^^

Then we went to the court, which is supossed to be a gay club, and surprisingly i had a lot of fun there too. The music was nice and the people there quite interesting. :p . Maybe that the cocktails of hula bula also helped... lol.

Such a perfect day :)

Today I went out with some friends. First we headed for Fremantle, where we shopped around for a while. (I bought a travel diary and a pair of sunglasses which reminds me of the ones Silver, Adrinna and Naomi were wearing in the 1st episode of the 2nd season of 90210).

Then we were off to Cottesloe beach. Yah! :D . I never had so much fun at the beach in Australia until now. The weather was perfect, a clear blue and sunny sky. The sand was so warm and soft. Just perfect for napping... And the water so refreshingly cool. Couldn’t wish for anything better. The only thing I would change about Cottesloe beach would be those irritating and fierce seagulls that aren’t afraid of humans.

To summarize, it was a very nice day. I hope that the rest of the holidays is as good.

P.S I’m so happy that my first post gets to be about the beach.
